Hey guys, my name is Colby Fainga’a and I play flanker and No.8. This is my first season at Kyuden Voltex.

I started my professional rugby career in Australia but have more recently been playing in Ireland and then in France. I’m very grateful to be able to experience different countries and cultures through rugby and I’m extremely excited about what I’ve seen so far in Japan. I’m loving learining about Japanese culture, the language and also trying all the food.

In my personal life, I am a proud husband and father of 3 young children, Georgia 5, Oscar 4 and Amelie 2.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to play rugby for Kyuden and I can’t wait for the season to start so we can achieve our goal of winning division 3 and progressing to division 2.
I look forward to meeting all of the fans and supporters at our home games, so please come support us and make some loud noise!!


こんにちはみなさん、私の名前はコルビー・ファインガアです。フランカーとNo.8をプレイしています。今シーズンがキューデンヴォルテクスでの最初のシーズンです。

オーストラリアでプロフェッショナルラグビーキャリアをスタートしましたが、最近ではアイルランドとフランスでプレーしていました。ラグビーを通して違う国や文化を経験できて非常に感謝していますし、日本に来て、見てきたものにも楽しめています。日本の文化や言葉を学ぶのも好きですし、いろんな食べ物を試すのも好きです。

私生活では幼い3人の子供ジョージア5歳、オスカー4歳、アメリー2歳の父親です。キューデンヴォルテクスでラグビーをする機会に感謝していますし、シーズンがスタートしディビジョン3を勝ちディビジョン2へ昇格するという私達の目標を達成する事が待ちきれません。私達のホームゲームでファンの皆様やサポーターの方々に会うのを楽しみにしています。なので是非会場に来て盛り上がりましょう!
